Reuse vs. Recycle

The Mallinger Box Company supports the nation's leading large and small companies with reuse and recycle programs designed to reduce waste. We work with you to create programs and services specifically for your organization.

Not only do you increase revenue, lower overhead, reduce expenses, and help the environment, you also enjoy the benefits of free pickup and delivery.

  • Turn an expense into income. We pay more for your new, unused boxes.
  • Sell us your recyclables. We work with you to create a plan for ongoing support of your recycling needs.
  • Eliminate recycling fees.
  • Save time and space by no longer having to bale your cardboard.

THE ENVIRONMENT WINS WHEN YOU REUSE

RECYCLING IS GREAT.

BUT REUSING IS BETTER!

  • Save 40-60% on your corrugated cardboard and Gaylord boxes.
  • Choose from a wide variety of box sizes stored in our 40,000 square foot warehouse.
  • New boxes: Available in single- and double-wall thicknesses, white and brown.
  • White-label used: Single white label is easy to cover. Available in single- and double-wall thicknesses.
  • Printed used: New and unpacked boxes with logo and/or print. Available in single-wall thickness.
  • Boxes pass a strict quality control test so you can use them for your organization's shipments with confidence.

REDUCE. REUSE. RECYCLE .

CREATE A NEW REVENUE STREAM, LOWER OVERHEAD COSTS

Sell us your recyclables and overruns

The difference in the environmental impact and relative costs between reusing and recycling is significant. While The Mallinger Box Company has programs for both, we strongly support reuse first for many reasons. You reduce overhead, minimize your environmental footprint, and contribute to the sustainability of our planet.

Reusing cardboard boxes decreases the need for virgin pulp to manufacture new boxes.  The average cardboard box can be reused up to 10 times before it will become structurally unsound!

Recycling should be the last resort considering that the process for creating a new box from existing materials uses as many resources and energy as manufacturing a new box from new resources.

REDUCE EXPENSES

Buy boxes at discounted prices

Why recycle perfectly good boxes? It's often a good option, but unnecessary when boxes are new. We pay more for your new boxes and sell them for reuse. This pulls them out of the resource-consuming, recycling process and puts them directly back into the market for reuse.
